Chelsea beat Rennes in their Champions League group stage clash with a 3-0 score. Timo Werner opened the score in the 10th minute of the game, as he released a penalty kick. Then, the German international doubled the lead for the Blues in the 41st minute and again scored from the penalty spot. In the second half, Chelsea made the score 3-0 after Tammy Abraham's strike in the 50th minute.
