Arsenal have entered the race with Leicester City to sign Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard this summer, according to the
Daily Telegraph.
Celtic’s interim manager John Kennedy has already dropped a hint over Edouard’s future, with the temporary boss admitting that there will come a point where he could be on his way out of the club.
Kennedy said:
“When you have talented players, there’s always interest.
“So I’ve no doubt there will be interest in Odsonne, as there was last season and all the time he’s been here, but ultimately the club will do the right thing for themselves.
“We want to keep him for as long as we can because of the talent he’s got.
“But there ultimately comes a point, whether contractually or the player’s motivation, when you have to sit down and address that and that will be done in the summer.”
The 23-year-old has just one year remaining on his contract at Celtic Park, meaning he could be available for as little as £15million in the summer.
