Cech delivers new No.1 for Lampard after €33m Chelsea transfer agreed

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has told Petr Cech to find him a new goalkeeper this summer and the former Blues No.1 has reportedly delivered. The Blues boss has been unconvinced by Kepa Arrizabalaga. The world’s most expensive keeper was dropped before the coronavirus pandemic, with  Lampard opting to use Willy Caballero before Kepa regained his place. Lampard is believed to have asked technical advisor Petr Cech to help him find a new goalkeeper with backing from Marina Granovskaia. Cech is well respected by the Chelsea boss after their time together at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea have already made their move. According to Turkish outlet Haber 365, Chelsea have struck an agreement with Trabzonspor for 24-year-old Ugurcan Cakir. The fee is believed to be €33m with Cakir set to move this summer. Cakir’s rise in Turkey is said to have attracted the attention of Liverpool, who reportedly made a bid for the Turkey international last summer before opting to sign Adrian. Source: teamtalk
