Cavani, Rashford, Pogba: Manchester United all injuries and expected return dates ahead of West Ham

Manchester United are set to face West Ham on Sunday, as the Premier League action resumes. The Red Devils picked up a 1-1 draw with AC Milan on Thursday in the first leg of Europa League round 16. Ahead of the match against Hammers, here is United's injury list and expected return dates. Anthony Martial Expected return date: Unknown The Frenchman was forced off at half-time against Milan after falling awkwardly on his hip. The striker is being assessed and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ruled him out of Sunday's game against David Moyes' side. “Anthony got a whack on his hip so there’s another forward we need to scan and look at," said United boss. "Unfortunately, he got a whack on his hip quite early in the first half so he couldn't go on." Marcus Rashford Expected return date: March 14 The 23-year-old went off injured against Man City after sustaining an ankle injury when tracking back to make a tackle. After Milan match Solskjaer said: "I definitely hope Marcus is back for next Thursday in Milan. I’m not sure he’ll make Sunday but, fingers crossed, as we’ll need him." Edinson Cavani Expected return date: March 15 onwards. Cavani wasn't ruled out from playing a role in Thursday's 1-1 draw but he was considered not fit. The Uruguayan will play no part in Sunday's match either. “Edinson, I don’t think will be ready for Sunday, no," said Red Devils boss. Donny van de Beek Expected return date: Unknown Van de Beek has not been part of a United matchday squad since being an unused substitute in their goalless draw with Chelsea on February 28. Last week United boss described the midfielder as a doubt for the Manchester derby but the Dutchman remains on the sidelines with a muscular injury. Paul Pogba Expected return date: March 21 Pogba hasn't played since the 3-3 draw with Everton at Old Trafford and his absence in midfield has been significant. The club are hoping the Frenchman will be fit around the international break and could come back into contention for their match against Leicester City on March 21. Juan Mata Expected return date: March 14 Mata is sidelined with an unspecified injury and is not expected to be back until the game against West Ham on Sunday at the earliest. Phil Jones Expected return date: N/A Jones has been out due to serious knee injury since January 2020. "I'm not sure how long it will be, how long is a piece of rope? Hopefully this season but if not then the start of next," said Solskjaer. Source- Manchester Evening News Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
