Aston Villa managed to keep their place in the Premier League for the 2020/21 season. They are set to kick-off their campaign on September 21 against Sheffield United. Seven players have left the club ahead of the new season, including Callum O'Hare, Anthony Scully, Matija Sarkic, Rushian Hepburn-Murphy, James Chester, Andre Green and James Bree. Meanwhile, two players joined the club. The Villians have signed full-back Matty Cash from Nottingham Forest for £16million. The 23-year-old made more than 120 appearances for Forest, winning the 2020 player of the year award at the City Ground. Exeter City’s youngest senior debutant Ben Chrisene has also joined the club, but has been sent straight into Villa's academy having made five senior appearances for the Grecians.
