Carlos Sainz has taken to Twitter to react to French Grand Prix. Sainz started the race from P19 and finished it at P5, however, he had a chance to finished 3rd before he went for a pit stop.
The Spanish driver was Ferrari’s only hope for points in Paul Ricard after Charles Leclerc crashed out of the race while leading at Lap 18.
After the race, Sainz was named the driver of the day.
Taking to Twitter, the Ferrari driver wrote: “Good recovery. I enjoyed going through the field and I gave everything out there. Unlucky in the pits, but we fought for the podium. Like always, we will review to try and improve and we’ll keep pushing. On to Hungary.”
Hungarian Grand Prix will be the last before the drivers go into the summer break. It is scheduled for July 31.
