Carlo Ancelotti RESPONDS to Richarlison transfer rumors
Everton head coach Carlo Ancelotti has responded to the rumors linking Richarlison with a move to Barcelona.
La Liga side are in active search of a replacement for injured Luis Suarez and Everton star has been mentioned among the candidates recently.
As earlier reported by Sky Sports, Barcelona offered £85 m to Toffees but got rejected as they switched their attention to other alternatives.
“He's still here and he didn't go to Barcelona! The player is happy here. He is a really important part of our squad.” Ancelotti said during the press-conference.
“We didn't receive an official offer for him. Rumour is rumour. And even if not rumour, Richarlison is a really important player for us.” he added.
Richarlison has 8 goals and provided 3 assists in the Premier League this season.
Everton will face Watford tomorrow.
