Carabao Cup: Williams, Grujic, Jota. Liverpool predicted lineup against Arsenal

Liverpool are preparing to face Arsenal in the Carabao Cup round of 16 on Thursday, October 1. Ahead of the game it was confirmed that Kostas Tsimikas has joined Jordan Henderson and Joel Matip on the sidelines, after failing to overcome a thigh strain. Assistant boss Pep Lijnders told the club's official website: "We have Kostas, who after the Lincoln game had a thigh problem. We thought it would settle, it didn't, so he will need more time. "He will not be involved on Thursday and also not on Sunday." Lijnders added: "Jordan, we will reevaluate on Friday after this game to see if he can be ready for Aston Villa. "Joel is the same as what I said last week, he will be ready [after] the international break and use the time to prepare the Everton game." Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is also currently unavailable as he is rehabilitating from a knee problem which he picked up during the pre-season. Thiago Alcantara is also out due to having tested positive for COVID19. Here is how the Reds could lineup against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup. Liverpool predicted lineup: Adrian, Williams, Koumetio, Fabinho, Milner, Grujic, Jones, Shaqiri, Elliott, Minamino, Jota. Source- Evening Standard Join us on Telegram
