Canelo could lose his title; massive boost for Gennady Golovkin

Gennady Golovkin could face Sergey Derevyanchenko for mandated-middleweight title fight. According to what has been reported by Boxingscene, IBF could strip Saul Canelo Alvarez of his title in case Mexican boxer's team doesn't accept the mandated title fight with Derevyanchenko. Canelo beat Daniel Jacobs back on May 4 to defend his title. His team however, is now more concentrated on organizing a fight with Sergey Kovalev. Despite the fact, that Russian boxer's team doesn't accept the terms offered by Golden Boy.
