Dominic Calvert-Lewin was in a state of shock as he was shown back footage of his late disallowed goal.
Everton played a 1-1 draw with Manchester United, however, the Toffees could have claimed a victory.
Bruno Fernandes scored for a second successive Premier League match after Everton took the lead after three minutes when Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored.
Everton thought they had claimed victory through Calvert-Lewin, but his deflected strike was ruled out by VAR due to offside position.
Calvert-Lewin was shown a replay of the incident by Sky Sports reporter Geoff Shreeves and the Everton forward claimed the officials had made a ‘horrendous’ decision.
“That is a disaster,” Calvert-Lewin said as he watched on in horror. “Oh my gosh. Is that even obstructing the line of sight? That’s horrendous!”
“For me being a striker it’s a goal, but VAR says otherwise and cancels out the emotion at the end, so what can you do?”
Frustration for Dominic Calvert-Lewin as he’s denied a last-gasp winner by VAR…
