Callum Smith wants next fight to be at ANFIELD

Callum Smith is eyeing a dream night at Anfield after landing the WBA super-middleweight title. Smith said: “It is like it is meant to be. I always said I would like to fight at Anfield but I would need a world title to do it. It seems perfect timing. “Eddie is no stranger to holding outdoor events and he seems quite keen on it. I’m not sitting here saying I could fill out Anfield but we’ve seen other fighters do it. “Now you don’t have to be Anthony Joshua to do it. With the right fight, the right undercard, then why not? I’m sure I would make a lot of other Scouse fighters dreams come true that night too.” Promoter Eddie Hearn is keen on a staging a card at Anfield in May.
