Calciomercato: Leicester City make transfer decision on £22m Celtic player

Leicester City have reportedly targeted Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer amid AC Milan interest, according to a report by Italian website Calciomercato, via sempremilan.com. The 22-year-old has been linked with the move to King Power Stadium, with the club boss Brendan Rodgers used to work with the player from his time at Celtic. Ajer has made 129 appearances for Celtic winning two League titles, two Scottish FA Cups and three Scottish League Cup trophies. He played in 49 games for the club in all competitions this term before the games were suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. The reports claim the young defender's agent has revealed his client's desire to leave the Scottish club for another team. Celtic have set a transfer fee at around £22 million for Ajer.
