European football fans will be busy this weekend as their eyes will be on the German Bundesliga, as it returns to action on Saturday, May 16, following a 61-day shutdown due to coronavirus pandemic. The games will take plays at the home team’s stadium as normal but behind closed doors.

Germany’s top division will be the first of Europe’s elite leagues to return to action, while Serie A, La Liga and Premier League attempt to continue the season, while Ligue 1 decided to end the season. Each Bundesliga team has nine or 10 league matches to play to complete the season.
