Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring, as he scored from the penalty spot in the 40th minute of the game. It was Lewandowski's 26th goal of the season. The Polish striker has now scored more than 40 goals in each of his last five seasons in all competitions. Benjamin Pavard, meanwhile, scored the second goal for Bayern Munich.
Bayern Munich are leading the Bundesliga table with 58 points. Four points more than second-placed Borussia Dortmund.
