Bruno Fernandes trolls Manchester United team-mate over his lack of goals
Bruno Fernandes has joked that his Manchester United teammate Fred will have to wait "a year" for his next goal after his rare strike against Tottenham.
The Red Devils celebrated a 3 - 1 win over the Spurs last weekend, with Fred, Edinson Cavani and Mason Greenwood scoring the winning goals for their side.
After Fred's goal, Fernandes greeted his teammate with a friendly shove. And here is how the Portuguese star explained his actions.
"So [it was] because Fred normally never scores!" he told MUTV. "So, when he scores, we have to do something different.
"It will be the next goal in one year because I think the last one he scored for us was against Club Brugge, one year ago almost or maybe more.
"We have to make something to remember that goal."
