Manchester United suffered a 2-4 defeat to Liverpool on Thursday night as they played their postponed game.
Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring in the first minutes of the game, however later Diogo Jota’s equaliser changed everything.
Roberto Firmino’s brace and Mohamed Salah’s goal handed the Reds big three points, despite United’s second goal by Marcus Rashford.
After the game Fernandes, who was given the captain armband in the absence of Harry Maguire, took to his Twitter to reflect on the game.
“A very disappointing result…”, he tweeted. “But this won’t affect our confidence and desire to finish this season in a good way.”
