Bruno Fernandes latest: Fernandes tells close friend he is confident of Manchester United transfer

Manchester United target Bruno Fernandes has reportedly told a close friend he is “confident” he will move to the Premier League side in January. The Red Devils have long been linked with the player, however, negotiations over the proposed move to Old  Trafford have stalled this week. Reports have suggested, that the player agreed terms with the Red Devils, however, it is understood the move is still far away. United were looking to make a bid where paid £43m upfront with £17m in add ons. However, it is thought Sporting aren’t happy with the structure of that deal and would want more money upfront. Manchester City’s interest in the player also broke the news, as Pep Guardiola’s side are reportedly ready to sign him in the summer transfer window.
