Bruno Fernandes EXPLAINS why he ‘shushed’ Pep Guardiola during the DERBY

Bruno Fernandes has explained why he ‘shushed’ Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola during the recent derby at Old Trafford.  Red Devils beat Premier League back-to-back champions due to goals from Anthony Martial and Scott McTominay.  It has been another inspired performance by Fernandes, who provided an intelligent assist for Martial’s goal.  The Portuguese international has also been caught by cameras ‘shushing’ Guardiola, which he hadn’t talked about until today.  “I talked about the incident with some friends.” Fernandes said (via The Sun) “Some people think like, ‘Pep won everything, who is Bruno to do this to him?’ “But I think it’s about respect. "I have respect for Pep and what he won, and what he did for football, because he changed some mentalities in football. "But I think in that moment, he didn't respect me. So he didn't deserve my respect at that moment on the pitch."
  • Manchester United are playing against LASK in the first leg of the Europa League round of 16.
  • Fernandes has provided another assist, this time for Odion Ighalo, as Ole-Gunnar Solskjaer’s side lead after the first half.
