British Grand Prix: Who is looking good for the win?

The 2019 British GP weekend will start on 12 July at Silverstone. Silverstone has been the permanent host for British GP since 1987. Drivers heading to Silverstone for the 53rd time. The circuit is a high-speed test of an F1 car’s aerodynamics, and the rapid changes of direction make it stand out. The track has been the location for some iconic moments. Keke Rosberg’s pole position lap in 1985 saw him set the fastest qualifying lap in F1 history at the time as he averaged over 160mph, while two years later when the race returned it saw an iconic moment as Nigel Mansell hunted down and overtook teammate Nelson Piquet for the win. Then there is the enduring image of Mansell picking up Ayrton Senna after winning at home again in 1991, giving the legendary Brazilian a lift back to the pits after the McLaren had run out of fuel. (Via F1) Lewis Hamilton is the outright favourite to win the 2019 British Grand Prix. Hamilton won five times at Silverstone, including four straight and the Brit looks to set an all-time record as the only driver to win six times on the track. After a dismal race in Austria, the Brit will be hoping to re-ignite his championship challenge. Hamilton is in hot form and he also has the advantage of the home crowd cheering him on. Odds by Vbet
