Brighton name Ben White price amid Liverpool interest

Brighton have reportedly slapped a £50million price tag on defender Ben White amid speculations Liverpool could turn their attention to the defender as Virgil van Dijk replacement. Van Dijk is set to undergo knee surgery and could face several months on the sidelines. The Reds star suffered the injury in Liverpool's 2-2 draw with Everton. Jurgen Klopp's side made an enquiry about White's availability during the summer but decided not to pursue the defender after being quoted a similar price, report The Sun.
