Brendan Rodgers reveals what he told Leicester City squad before FA Cup win over Manchester United

Leicester City head coach Brendan Rodgers has said his side are "two games from history" after qualifying for the FA Cup semi-final with an outstanding win over Manchester United. Kelechi Iheanacho's brace and Youri Tielemans' goal handed the Foxes a perfect win over the Red Devils and a place in the semi-finals where they will face Southampton. And Rodgers revealed what he told his squad ahead of the game. “We’ll look forward to it, any semi-final is always going to be a tough team you play,” Rodgers said. “Southampton are a very good side that’s why they are there as well. It’s a little while to go for that. “I said to the players before: ‘You are three games away from playing in history, and when you have the chance to do that, you have to give everything you can to create it.’ “It’s now down to two games. You have to respect every opponent. If you get to the semi-finals you’re going to be playing a good team. “We knew the draw at half-time but it was irrelevant, you have to look after the game you were in and thankfully we were able to do that.” The Foxes will likely be favourites against Saints, and will have an extremely good chance to reach the final for the first time since 1969.
