Wilfred Ndidi could be out of action for “four to five weeks” which could see him missing home matches against Manchester United and Arsenal, as well as two Europa League games versus Spartak Moscow.
The midfielder has suffered a hamstring injury in the club's 2 -2 draw with Burnley last weekend, while after the scan it turned out be a more serious problem than expected.
Speaking about the 24-year-old's fitness after the Foxes' 2 - 2 draw with Crystal Palace on Sunday, Brendan Rodgers told BBC Radio Leicester:
“He did it in the (Burnley) game, which was unfortunate. It could be four to five weeks, so we’ll see how that goes.”
If Ndidi is out for five weeks, Leicester will have to play the next seven games without him.
