Brendan Rodgers left James Maddison on the bench during their pre-season draw against Wycombe Wanderers on Wednesday evening.
The 24-year-old has been linked with Arsenal for quite long, as Mikel Arteta is apparently a great admirer of the player.
According to
Sky Sports, Leicester are not keen on selling their attacking midfielder this summer, and a bid of above £70million is required for his transfer.
However, the Foxes' boss has dropped a hint over Maddison's future with his selection of XI for the friendly against Wycombe Wanderers on Wednesday.
James was on the bench for the game where Leicester lost 1-0, and was only introduced for the second-half as Rodgers made 11 changes at the break.
The attacking midfielder still has three years remaining on his contract with Leicester City.
