Brendan Rodgers confident Hamza Choudhury will follow key advice

Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers is confident Hamza Choudhury knows he cannot make “80s challenges”. According to Rodgers, the player is ready to step up and fill Wilfred Ndidi’s boots. Rodgers said Choudhury is well aware the modern game is not suited to challenges from a bygone era. “You don’t want to take away that aggression, but in the modern game, you won’t get away with it,” said Rodgers on Choudhury. "If you look at our defensive record and our press, very rarely will we be diving into challenges. “It’s getting up to the ball, getting in contention, intercepting, blocking, forcing a bad pass because you’ve put pressure on the ball, nicking it. That’s something he’s learning all the time. In the modern game, it’s very difficult to get away with the ‘80s challenge.” Source- LeicesterMercury  Join us on Telegram!
