Tottenham’s Jan Vertonghen named UCL Player of the week

Jan Vertonghen has been voted Champions League Player of the week. The other nominees were Nicolo Zaniolo from Roma, Marci Veratti from PSG and Thibaut Courtois from Real Madrid. Vertonghen put in a superb performance in Wednesday night’s Champions League last-16 first-leg 3-0 win over Borussia Dortmund.
