BREAKING: Liverpool youngster banned by FA

Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott has been banned by FA for 14 days for the video footage of him mocking Tottenham forward Harry Kane after Champions League final, when Merseyside club beat Spurs in Madrid. LiverpoolECHO correspondent Paul Gorst wrote on twitter: "#LFC youngster Harvey Elliott has been banned for 14 days by the FA after an investigation into the video footage of him mocking Harry Kane that emerged back in the summer." "Elliott must also complete a face-to-face education course and pay a £350 fine." FA's official statement says: “We bear in mind in particular that the player had only recently turned 16 at the time the incident occurred and has a clean disciplinary record.” 16-year-old Elliott has made his debut this season for Liverpool in Carabao Cup against MK Dons.
