BREAKING: Liverpool star has huge problems: He could face 5 years in prison
According to latest reports from Reuters, Croatia national attorney has charged Liverpool star Dejan Lovren for false testimony.
Alongside with other teammates from Dinamo Zagreb, Lovren was called for a testimony last year against ex-officials of Croatian club and former president Zdravko Mamic.
State attorney didn’t mention exact name. Instead they have written “29-year-old citizen of Croatia”. No one was available at Liverpool to give comments on this situation.
Another Croatia national team star, Luka Modric, was also accused of false testimony recently.
Lovren moved to Olympique Lyon in 2010, then joined Southampton in 2013, and Liverpool a year later.
He could now face 5 years of prison.
