BREAKING: Liverpool to play TWO games in the SAME night? 

According to the reports from British media outlets, EFL and Liverpool have discussed the opportunity for two matches in the same night.  Seems ridiculous, however, it has been written that EFL have thought about the option of not rescheduling the Carabao Cup quarterfinals, which means Liverpool should play with two different squads, one at Villa Park against Aston Villa, another in Doha, playing in Club World Cup semi-finals.

Jurgen Klopp has reportedly voted against this option, which seems logical. How to manage two squads for two different competitions?  The main option remains rescheduling. As reported earlier by Sky Sports, the possible date is January 7, which will make EFL change the dates of Carabao Cup semis either. More information to follow
