Italian giants AC Milan have just been taken over by new owners and there are strong suggestions in Italy that Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis is wanted by the Italian club.
American hedge fund Elliott Management have completed a takeover at the club after former owner Li Yonghong failed to repay a debt of €32 million. The Italian outfit announced the appointment of Paolo Scaroni as chairman and a new board was appointed on Saturday.
According to reports from Italy, Gazidis is heading the list of candidates to replace Marco Fassone, who left his role of CEO at Milan on Saturday. However, following Arsene Wenger’s retirement from head coach’s position, Gazidis now gets the full control at the club, so his future still remains on doubt.
