David Duckenfield, Hillsborough match commander, a retired chief superintendent, has been found not guilty of gross negligence manslaughter of 95 Liverpool fans during FA Cup semi-final on April 15 1989.96 men, women and children died following the crush on the terrace. The law, however, says that there couldn’t be prosecution for Tony Bland, 96th victim, who passed away a year and a day after the incident.On Thursday it has been decided to consider the majority decision, as nine jurors at Preston Crown Court gave verdict of Duckenfield being not guilty.
