BREAKING from Italy: All sporting events are CANCELLED

All sporting events in Italy have been cancelled until April 3 due to coronavirus. Italian sporting chiefs have ordered to stop all upcoming events as they are waiting for the signature of the Prime Minister Guiseppe Conte. Six Serie A fixtures, including Juventus vs Inter, have earlier been postponed, but eventually played behind-closed-doors. However, the coronavirus situation in the country is becoming even critical, as 16 million people are in quarantine, while 7,000 are infected. The number of people who have died from coronavirus reaches 366. The decision, however, concern only DOMESTIC events, which means Juventus and Atalanta will play their Champions League matches. There is still uncertainty over Euro - 2020, as Italy is one of the 12 host countries and Rome will host the opening match between Scuadra Azzura and Turkey on June 12. More information to follow
