BREAKING: FA to demand phone records from Daniel Sturridge

According to recent reports, FA could demand phone records from Daniel Sturridge in order to check the possible involvement of the player in betting. Liverpool star denies he has been involved in betting, however he is charged for allegedly passing information to his family members or friends. The Sun reports: “Sturridge, 29, has until 6pm on Tuesday to answer a misconduct charge from the FA alleging he has broken their strict gambling rules. England international has moved to West Brom on loan deal. He was also linked with Newcastle and Inter Milan while being at Melwood last season. Sturridge was recently said to be involved in gambling. He was charged by FA for allegedly breaking gambling rules. Reports suggest Former Chelsea striker’s cousing has placed the £10.000 bet on the move to Milan in January of 2018. Sturridge, however, joined West Brom on loan deal, and returned to Melwood after 2017/18 season. Another report from The Sun says another family member has also placed a significant bid on the move.
