Ex-Arsenal star Nicklas Bendtner is set to face 50 days in prison after for punching taxi driver.Bendtner hasn’t accepted that he was guilty, however his appellation wasn’t accepted, which means he will be sentenced to jail.Denmark international said during the trial (via Mirror Fooball): "I responded in self-defence,""I was surprised by it, but I hit him in the head with my hand."I thought the driver would hurt me. As we confronted each other, we lifted our arms at the same time, and I hit him first."On Wednesday, the State Prosecutor of Copenhagen confirmed that the appellation would not be accepted. Bendtner will also have to pay his fine of 1,500 kroner (£179).It is yet uncertain when he will go to prison.
