BREAKING: Chelsea reach an agreement with Ajax over Hakim Ziyech transfer

Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign Ajax midfielder Hakim Ziyech, according to reports. The Blues failed to sign the 26-year-old during the January transfer window. However, the player remained in Frank Lampard's with-list for the summer. According to De Telegraaf, Chelsea have agreed to pay a €45 million (£37.8m) for the Morocco international. It is also claimed that Ziyech is still possible to change his mind over the transfer as the contract has not been signed, with the Blues have been in verbal agreement with the Amsterdam club. The 26-year-old has been a key player in Ajax during the past two seasons, having scored 45 goals and assisting 29 times in 78 appearances. Ziyech will be likely to fill the void in case of Chelsea winger William's exit.
