BREAKING: Barcelona extended Ernesto Valverde’s contract

Barcelona have reached an agreement with Ernesto Valverde to extend the contract for another season with the option for one more (2020/21), the club have announced. The signing of the extension will take place on Friday 15 February at 10.15am CET in the Presidential Suite at Camp Nou. In total the coach has led FC Barcelona in 96 official matches, winning 65, drawing 22 and just 9 defeats. Of those 65 victories, 43 have come in the league, 11 in the Copa del Rey, 10 in the Champions League and one in the Spanish Super Cup.
