Fluminense goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga is set to sign for Liverpool, according to reports from Brazil on Friday.
Globo Esporte claims the Rio de Janeiro side have finally accepted a bid made by the Reds for the 17-year-old. There are now only bureaucratic details for the move to be completed.
The player will soon travel to England and sign a three-year contract with the Premier League champions, with an option to renew for another two.
The report confirms a previous report from UOL which said Liverpool are initially paying €1m for the move, and there’s another €1m depending on bonuses.
