Brazil star Danilo out of World Cup due to injury

Brazil face a major blow on the eve of their World Cup quarter-final with Belgium. Manchester City defender Danilo has been ruled out of the rest of the tournament with an ankle ligament injury. The player has picked up the injury in training less than 24 hours before Brazil will face Belgium. Brazil remain the favourites for the tournament but Danilo’s World Cup exit will be a major blow for them as he has been their first-choice right-back in Russia after Dani Alves picked up an injury before the tournament.
