Bild: Manchester City "in pole position" to sign €75m star in 2022

Manchester City are in pole position to sign Erling Haaland in 2022, according to German outlet Bild. The Citizens have been linked with the move for Borussia Dortmund star this summer amid the reported interest from Chelsea, Manchester United, Barcelona, and Real Madrid. The German side, however, decided to keep their striker following Jadon Sancho's move to United. City have failed to sign any striker this summer, with their main target Harry Kane staying at Tottenham. As for Haaland, the report claims that Pep Guardiola's side haven't cooled down their interest and will go for the Norwegian attacker next year, with Dortmund's asking price being set at €75m - plus additional bonuses.
