Manchester City have apparently moved on from Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane as their attention is now on another side.
Reports previously claimed that Pep Guardiola's side are positioning themselves to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.
However, as Bild states (h/t
Sport Witness), Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski is also on their wishlist.
The 33-year-old’s deal at the Bavarian club is up in 2023 and there’s a possibility he could leave as he’s in the eve of his career.
Agent Pini Zahavi believes Etihad is a potential destination for his client.
Lewandowski would certainly improve City’s attack, but he wouldn’t be a long-term alternative for Sergio Aguero as they’re the same age, so time will tell if the Catalan manager would focus on the
£127m-rated Pole rather than Haaland.
