"Big factor": Alasdair Gold issues Tottenham claim on potential Harry Kane exit

Footbal London journalist Alasdair Gold has opened up Harry Kane's potential exit should Tottenham fail to win any trophies this season. The England international has made his Spurs debut in 2011, since then becoming one of the key players of the north London club. However, despite being one of the best forwards in the Premier League, Kane is yet to win titles with the Lilywhites that rose suggestions over his potential move from the club. On a recent video posted on his YouTube channel, Gold discussed this topic, saying: “I think it probably depends on how close they come. If there’s a real belief – if they finish the season second or third, get to a couple of finals, then yeah, why not? “If it looks like it’s going to be another, ‘Well, we’re kind of almost there but not quite,’ then perhaps players look at their future. But, I still do think with Kane, it’s just so difficult for him to get a move because of the values involved. “I think [Jose] Mourinho is a big factor, but, like I say, it’s down to the players as well. They’ve got to get into the positions to win those trophies. There’s only so much Mourinho can do off the pitch, they’ve got to do it on there.”
