"Best player by a mile": Jamie Carragher blown away by reported Liverpool target
Jamie Carragher has shared his full praise for Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma, following the player's display yesterday.
The Seagulls played a goalless draw with Everton in the Premier League, while Bissouma managed to impress former Liverpool man.
“The brightest spark of the game was Bissouma,” Carragher said on Sky Sports. “Not just the best player on the pitch, the best player by a mile. He really was.“He really does look like a top quality player. He was excellent at Old Trafford as well last time out. He looked head and shoulders above everyone on the pitch.“I think teams will be bidding for him at the end of the season. You would get top dollar for him.“Brighton fans might not thank me for trying to sell one of their players but that might be their model.”
The 24-year-old has been reportedly linked with the move to Liverpool. He could be a real option for the Reds if Gini Wijnaldum doesn’t sign a new contract at Anfield.
