Noel Whelan has named Tottenham duo Harry Kane and Heung-min Son as the “best partnership in world football”.
Speaking to
Football Insider, the former Leeds striker insisted the “telepathic” pair are a “joy to watch” and their current form will be “so important” in Spurs’ goal to finish in top-four.
“It’s the best partnership in world football, absolutely – they’re a deadly duo,”
“They’ve got that instinct between them, it’s almost telepathic. They’ve been together for a very long time now, which helps, and they know each other’s game inside out."
“They don’t even really need to look, they know exactly where each other is supposed to be.
“It’s a joy to watch when they’re on song, and all you can do is stand back and admire it." said Whelan.
Kane and Son have scored a combinated 16 Premier League goals this term.
