Bernardo Silva wants to see Paris Saint-Germain superstar at Manchester City

Bernardo Silva would love to see Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe at Manchester City. The two played together at Monaco and since then, Mbappe has shown himself to stardom for club and country. When asked by L’Equipe to pick one player from the France squad to bring to the Etihad, Silva had no hesitation in choosing his former team-mate. He said: "Kylian Mbappé. He was already a special player at Monaco when I was there, and he’s also a friend. If we could get him, it wouldn’t be bad, eh?" Silva couldn’t offer a reason as to why City’s season has started so poorly and admitted an immediate solution needs to be found. "I don’t really have a good explanation. We have to speak between us, with the manager, because if we want to win a title this season, we need to change something. All the teams know how we play, and we find ourselves against teams that don’t want the ball. They’re just waiting for the counter-attack. In this early season, we haven’t managed to be dangerous, to create a lot of chances, nor to be efficient. "It’s not been a good season for us, and for me personally either. We’ve got a very complete squad, with a lot of world class players and competition. On the right, I have Mahrez and Ferran Torres, or even Raheem Sterling. In the middle, I had David Silva, Gündogan and Kevin De Bruyne, but of course I needed to do better this season."
