Bernardo Silva makes bold Cristiano Ronaldo claim ahead of Manchester derby

Manchester City are set to face Manchester United in the derby as the Premier League action resumes. The teams only have 3 point difference in the standings with City in the 3rd place with 20 points, while United are 5th. Ahead of the match Man City's Bernardo Silva has talked about his Portugal compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo and revealed how they will try the United superstar. The midfielder said:

"We're going to try and stop him (Cristiano Ronaldo), and make sure that he doesn't score on Saturday.   "But we're not playing against Cristiano, we're playing against Manchester United. We're going to be focused on our job.   "I've played against many of my [Portugal] teammates; when I play Wolves I play against half of the national team, when I play Liverpool I play against [Diogo] Jota, when I play United I play against Bruno [Fernandes] as well.   “I always have the feeling that we play better away than at home against them [Manchester United]."
