Bernardo Silva gives verdict on three Manchester City youngsters

Bernardo Silva has shared his impression concerning three Manchester City youngsters that have applied themselves when being called upon by the first team this term. As Aymeric Laporte and John Stones were missing from the Blues' games due to their injuries, Pep Gaurdiola had to rely on the youngsters. Phil Foden has already shown his potential, having played in the first team squad for a number of years, while youngsters Eric Garcia and Taylor Harwood-Bellis have also impressed this season. Garcia has played the 90 minutes in six games, including Premier League and Champions League games, while Harwood-Bells has been given the chance to play in the domestic cups. Tommy Doyle and Adrian Bernabe have also got playing minutes in the Citizens games. Speaking on the youngsters, Silva told Man City: "It's great. Every time they play. Phil has been with us for a long time now and everyone knows how good he is but Eric or Taylor whenever they play they've been great, they've played together at 17, 18, 19  years-old and they play and it looks like they're 27 or 28. They're so calm, so relaxed, the way they read, the way they think, they way they have already adapted to the teams so it's good to see young kids and the quality that they have and how fast they adapt to the way the team plays." The 25-year-old also revealed he tries to help the young players to feel at ease with the team's superstars. "Just try and make them feel as comfortable as possible. I've gone through that when you're 18, 17 and you start training with huge players. Sometimes you're a bit shy, you don't train as you normally do with your teammates, so to make them feel comfortable, to make them feel at home, I think it's the best thing you can do for them. To train hard because you then learn a lot. it's a huge thing for them to learn and then develop their game."
