Ben Chilwell provides update on his serious injury operation

Ben Chilwell has undergone an operation on his injury as he provided the update on his social media. The 25-year-old injured his anterior cruciate ligament in November's 4-0 Champions League win over Juventus. After that he hasn't featured on any Chelsea game and was feared to miss the rest of the season. But on Thursday Chilwell took to his Twitter to provide an update on the successful operation. He tweeted:

"Hi guys. Just wanted to let everyone know that the operation yesterday was successful. I feel very positive & motivated to work like a beast to get back on the pitch with my boys soon and help this great club win more trophies. Thank you all for the support and nice messages."
