Belgium stars want to face England despite Roberto Martinez planning to rest them

The Belgium boss Roberto Martinez is considering leaving out almost all of his first team for Thursday’s group G clash against England. Two already-qualified sides will decide who wins the section and who goes through to the last 16 as runners-up. However, Kevin de Bryune and Eden Hazard have told Matinez they want the chance to front up against a side featuring club teammates and Premier League rivals. Martinez privately believes finishing second may be an advantage with what is shaping up as an easier passage through the knockout phase.
