Bayern Munich will hold a shock press conference today with speculation that Arsene Wenger could be appointed as their new manager, according to Daily Mirror. President Uli Hoeness, chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic will be leading the press conference. The last time this happened was to announce Jupp Heynckes’ return as head coach. Wenger, who has been working in North London for 22 years, has been linked with several clubs including PSG, Manchester United and Bayern Munich. Niko Kovac, working in Munich from the start of this season, has won several consecutive matches but failed to win a single time in last 4 matches. He lost two consecutive Bundesliga clashes, while his players didn’t manage to score a goal.
