Bayern Munich have reportedly considered making a move for Atletico midfielder Thomas Teye Partey as a replacement for Javi Martinez.
With Martinez nearing his retirement, Germany champions have eyed Partey for the summer transfer window. Premier League sides, including Arsenal and Manchester United, are also in rush for the Ghanaian midfielder.
Partey currently has a release clause of 50 million € with Atletico Madrid, and the Spanish side are keen on keeping him at the team, offering contract extension with the price doubled to 100 million €.
Bayern Munich has identified Thomas Partey as one of the few players with the quality to replace Javi Martínez.
The Bavarians are weighing their options as they consider making an official bid when the summer transfer window comes around.
