Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Joao Cancelo's future at Manchester City amid the latest transfer reports.
Earlier this week, the journalist reported that in the case of Ousmane Dembélé's move to PSG, Barcelona would cash on to sign a new centre-back for the upcoming 2023/24 season.
La Liga side's head coach Xavi has now confirmed that Dembélé wants a move to the French team, while he added the importance of signing a "pure right-back" during the summer transfer window.
Romano claims Barcelona will use part of the budget they get from their attacker's transfer to PSG in order to bid for Citizens' star Cancelo.
